    • In which a big decision can be taken regarding the name of the new Chief Minister.
    • Gehlot will try to keep the CM’s chair with him

Rajasthan: Politics in Rajasthan remains very interesting at this time. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will resign from his current post and contest for the post of Congress President. Here the CM’s chair will become vacant and this has become a cause of headache for the high command. On the one hand, Ashok Gehlot wants the state to have a confidant after him in the post of CM, while Sachin Pilot wants to become the new chauffeur of the state. But it is not that there is only one name in the discussion for the post of CM. At this time many names are floating in the air, but it is not yet decided whose name the high command announces.

Legislature party meeting has been called in Jaipur today. In which a big decision can be taken regarding the name of the new Chief Minister. Sachin Pilot, who has been sitting ‘patiently’ since 2018, is considered to be the biggest contender. Congress high command, especially Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi are being told in favor of Pilot. However, Gehlot is not yet ready for this and senior leaders, who are called the magicians of politics, can surprise with their bets.

Gehlot will try to keep the CM’s chair with him

At the same time, some political pundits believe that despite being reminded by Rahul Gandhi of ‘one person one post’, Gehlot will make another effort to keep the CM’s chair with him in Rajasthan even after becoming the president. He can get his voice raised in the legislature party meeting through the supporting MLAs. He can send a message to the high command that his removal will create an atmosphere of political instability and BJP can take advantage of it in the elections going to be held next year.

CP Joshi’s name is also in discussion

Apart from Gehlot’s attempt to remain the Chief Minister and being the frontrunner in the race for the successor of Sachin Pilot, some other faces are also being discussed. Apart from Pilot, Assembly Speaker CP Joshi is also considered a strong contender. Gehlot also has the support of CP Joshi, who continued to become the Chief Minister due to defeat in the 2008 elections by just one vote. The party can put them forward to remove the alleged resentment of Brahmins. CP Joshi has been a Union Minister for 4 times. He also enjoys the trust of Rahul Gandhi.

State President Govind Singh Dotasara can also be given the responsibility

Apart from CP Joshi, the name of BD Kalla is also in the discussion, who is a well-known leader of Brahmins. His long experience strengthens his side. However, his hold on the MLAs is not that strong. But it is believed that Gehlot can control them from behind the scenes by leading them. The name of the current state president Govind Singh Dotasara is going on as the third contender. By making Govind, who comes from the Jat community, the CN, the party can support the Jats. Jats play an important role in 11 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan. In such a situation, the party can benefit in 2024.

It is believed that whatever be the decision, but the ruckus is certain.

But nothing is decided yet on which side the Rajasthan CM’s camel will sit, but it is believed that whatever be the decision, there is bound to be a ruckus. If the high command makes Sachin a ‘pilot’, then Ashok Gehlot will strongly oppose it. Because he would not like his hold in the state to be weakened after he moves to Delhi and it will harm him in the assembly elections next year and the Lok Sabha elections due in 2024. That is why Gehlot will try his best that despite going to Delhi, the key of Rajasthan remains in his hands.
