PAK vs ENG: England team is playing Test series in Pakistan after a long gap of 17 years. This is the reason that England also decided to tour Pakistan first for limited overs series and then for Tests.
The England team defeated Pakistan in the first seven-match T20 series and have now won two consecutive Tests to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. On the fourth day of the second match of the series played in Multan, Ben Stokes-led England once again snatched victory from Pakistan’s fist and managed to win the Test series after 22 years in Pakistan.
England’s historic win in Pakistan might not have gone down well with some of the Pakistani players, with one of their players refusing to shake hands with visiting captain Ben Stokes after the match was lost.
In fact, on the fourth day, Pakistan’s team had scored 290 runs by losing 6 wickets while chasing England’s target of 355 runs, but in front of Mark Wood’s dangerous bowling, they lost 9 wickets on the score of 319. Before the third umpire gave his decision, the England players started celebrating the victory.
