All the ten teams had Rs 90 crore in purse before the mega auction 2022 and in that the teams bought. Each team still has a different amount outstanding. Although it was also reported earlier that BCCI may decide to increase the purse of all the teams by five crore rupees, but till now no update has been revealed regarding this. That is, only 25 percent of the money can be saved, not more than that. There will be no Right to Match card in the IPL mini auction. When the IPL mini auction is over, each team must have at least 18 players and a maximum of 25 players can be bought by a team. No more and less purchases are allowed. Along with this, it is necessary for every team to have at least 17 and maximum 25 Indian players, that is, the remaining slots of foreign players will be filled. Each team can include a maximum of eight foreign players in their squad, not more than that. Talking about the mini auction this time, 991 players had registered themselves and after that the BCCI has released the final list of 405 players. Out of these 405 players, 273 are Indian players and 132 foreign players are also going to try their luck in the auction. There are 119 capped players in this list ie players who have played at least one international match and 282 uncapped players, including four players from associate countries. If all ten teams fill their entire squad, that is, buy 25 players, then only a maximum of 87 players will be able to be sold and only a maximum of 30 players who are foreigners will be able to be sold. It has to be seen which team bets on which player and which player’s luck shines and which players go unsold even after coming to the auction.
